Candidate will be providing Oracle database development and administration services for both development and production environments. BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year•s experience. Experience with scripting and deploying cross-domain DB solutions a plus. Must be an independent worker with strong written & verbal communications skills.
Mandatory / Required Skills:
Core Oracle DBA skills (10 • 12) (Backup and Recovery, Storage Administration, Basic Security Administration, PL/SQL , Advanced SQL, Troubleshooting and Performance, Installation and Patching) thru 11g
Familiarity with Middle Tier Infrastructure, i.e., Web Services, External access (JDBC, ODBC)
LINUX operating system - with basic scripting
Current development skills - PL/SQL (Packages)
Development Tools - SQL Developer, SQLDeveloper Data Modeler, JDeveloper
Import / Export (Data Pump)
Database Auditing (Audit Vault knowlege would be great)
Scripting - Linux / Windows
Backup for primary Tier II after hours call-in
